Our editorial method

How we review products

Our job is to separate what a brand says from what can actually be supported, and to say plainly when something is unclear.

Four kinds of information

Every review uses the same labels, so you can always tell where a statement comes from.

Manufacturer says

What the brand states on its sales or product pages. We report it; we don’t endorse it.

What we found

What we could check ourselves: the ingredient list, the citations, the pricing maths and the refund terms.

Evidence available

Published research we could identify, and what it is actually about: the product, an ingredient, or something broader.

What remains unclear

Information the brand doesn’t disclose, or that we couldn’t confirm.

Health note

We also flag safety considerations, such as possible interactions with medication, wherever the information supports it.

Our review method

The same six steps for every product, whether we end up impressed or not.

01

Understand the manufacturer’s claims

We read the official sales and product pages and note exactly what the brand says the product does.

02

Examine the formulation

We list the ingredients or what is included, and check whether amounts per serving are disclosed.

03

Review the supporting information

Where a page cites studies or authorities, we check what they actually cover: the product, an ingredient, or neither.

04

Identify uncertainty and limitations

We record what the brand leaves out, where claims outrun the evidence, and any safety considerations.

05

Explain the practical details

Format, daily routine, pricing maths, subscriptions, shipping notes and the real refund process.

06

Link to the official source

Every product button goes to the official website, so you can check the current details yourself.

Every product

What we check on every product

What our reviews are, and are not

Our reviews are based on the information manufacturers publish, checked against what we can verify. Unless a review says otherwise, we have not tested the product ourselves, and we do not run laboratory tests or clinical trials.

We are not a medical authority. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation or a substitute for advice from your doctor or pharmacist.

Why there are no star ratings

A single number hides the details that matter. Two products can both “score well” for completely different reasons. We show you the documented facts, the gaps and the trade-offs instead.

How affiliate links fit in

Product buttons on review pages are affiliate links to the official website. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Brands cannot pay to be listed or to rank higher, and a review is written the same way whether or not a product is likely to sell. Full affiliate disclosure.

Corrections

Sales pages change. If you spot something out of date or wrong, tell us and choose “Feedback on a review”.
